About Stytchd Labs

Hi, I'm Thai, the founder of Stytchd Labs.

Like many great ideas, this journey started with a simple problem.

Years ago, while stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas, I started a small fitness brand called ADD-X Apparel. It wasn't part of some grand business plan. was simply tired of working out in old blank t-shirts and wanted to create apparel that reflected the mindset and work ethic I believed in.

I invested $500 into buying a $150 heat press, a cricket cutter, heat transfers from Amazon and a few blank shirts, and launched the brand with modest expectations. To my surprise, people immediately began supporting it. What started as a small side project quickly gained traction throughout the local fitness community. We collaborated with fitness enthusiasts, worked alongside local gym owners, and created content that helped build a loyal following. For the first time, I realized that something built from passion and creativity could grow into something much bigger.

At the same time, I was serving in the United States Air Force as a technical training instructor for the Weapons career field (2W1) at Sheppard Air Force Base. As someone who had always been an ARTIST at heart, I naturally found myself creating custom designs and graphics for the military community. Many of my students wanted gear that felt more modern, personal, and representative of their career field than what was traditionally available.

I started designing custom products that reflected the pride, humor, and culture of the Weapons community. What began as a few custom requests quickly spread through word of mouth. Demand grew, and before long, Weapons Exclusive was born.

Weapons Exclusive allowed me to combine two passions: creativity and military culture. Over the years, we expanded from simple apparel designs into custom gear, reflective belts, patches, accessories, and products designed specifically for military members who wanted something unique and personal.

As our customer base grew beyond a single career field, it became clear that our vision had outgrown the name. We wanted to create products for maintainers, operators, first responders, tradesmen, and hardworking professionals across many industries.

That evolution led to the creation of Stytchd Labs.

Today, Stytchd Labs is built on the same principles that started everything: quality craftsmanship, creativity, and community. Whether we're creating custom reflective belts, tool pouches, patches, apparel, or completely unique projects, our goal is simple—to help people create gear that represents who they are and what they stand for.

What started as a $500 side project has grown into something far greater than I ever imagined, and none of it would be possible without the customers, friends, military members, and supporters who believed in the vision along the way.
